RBC breaks concrete and cultural barriers as projects continue

Wednesday July 11th, 2018.

For last nights dinner, Judith made us redred, which consisted of rice mixed with a red sauce and beans, with plantains on the side. Today, the team got to work mostly making concrete and mortar for the masons, as well as continuing with the rock breaking routine. Mr. Hartland decided to invent the M game during our tasks, with Ollie Pink catching himself out when asking everyone what their favourite song was (his being ‘Sweet Child of MINE’) and earning himself a fine of 10 press ups. Additionally, we had hundreds of school children come to our rescue when we ran out of cement, with them bravely helping us to carry the materials. All in all – a very productive project day.
