Day 15: saying our goodbyes

Sorry this blog entry is late, and sorry it is Carol writing. A busy day celebrating zoli’s birthday with bunting, singing, cards and cake,  completing our projects and dance practise this morning – we put together the incredibly heavy shrine to Lord Buddha in the Janoda grounds.

After dance at Tzu Chi we toured the salterns where much salt is evaporated from the sea to be sold. One of the buddies, Theja’s mum organised it for us including a safari trip on a tractor and trailer!

We came back to Janoda to clean and pack before dinner and the final party, where we performed our dance – quite well! And also watched some more proffessional folk danaher’s and older dancers from Tzu Chi.

Many many goodbyes and now we have to pack even more gifts!

see you all soon, just a long journey back to look forward to with some stop offs along the way to break up the journey.
